What is a root canal?

Root canal treatment involves the removal of your tooth’s pulp. The tooth’s pulp is the small, thread like tissue in the centre of your tooth. Here at Active Dental we believe in preventive dentistry and we often recommend root canal treatments for patients who otherwise would require the removal of their decaying tooth.
