What is involved in a root canal treatment?

There are several steps involved in a root canal treatment:

1. Firstly an opening is made through the back or the crown of the tooth.
2. We then remove the diseased pulp from your tooth and clean the pulp chamber of your tooth.
3. Your pulp chamber and root canal is then permanently filled.
4. Finally a crown may be placed over your tooth to restore its natural shape.
